This should be a calm week since there are only two "extra" events scheduled. Thursday Lt. Dan will be here for the last fire safety class with the kindergarten and first grade students. Thursday night is the April PTO meeting from 6:00 - 7:00 PM with pizza for the family and adult supervision for the children during the meeting. The primary topic will be discussion about the new property and plans for its development.
Ms. Howard and the fourth grade students will be finishing their final reviews for the FSA math test scheduled for May 10th and 13th. You can help by encouraging them to visit the www.fsassessments.org site for practice tests. Please be on time next week as students cannot be admitted late to the testing rooms. This is a computer-based test - their first one.
Also attached to this newsletter is the registration form for summer camp. We are concentrating on music but will also offer academics, art, and outdoor play. Our goal is to lesson the effect of summer vacation on what the students have learned while providing a safe and fun place
If you are having difficulty with the online enrollment or re-enrollment, please call Kathy. She can point you in the right direction. This is the first year for the program so there may be some glitches, but it will get worked out and should be an excellent program. Remember you can come into the office if you need access to a computer.
Have a wonderful week.
