11:00 Auditions for April 1 Talent Show for parents and SAA students performing with non-SAA students.
Last December we had Lt. Enos from the Sarasota County Sheriff's Office come to speak to parents about student use of the internet, social media, and cyberbullying. It was an excellent presentation but very few parents attended probably due to the busy schedules around the holidays. Although most of our students act responsibly with regard to cell phone use, we are seeing and hearing about students using the phones both on and off campus to post pictures and comments about other students. Please talk with your children about responsible use of technology and social media. Students should have the phones off and in a backpack or purse unless needed for educational purposes. If a student needs to get in touch with a parent, they are welcome to use the phone in the office. Parents can always reach their children that way as well. Thank you for helping us manage the unnecessary use of cell phones at school.
Have a great week!
